Thailand is known for its scrumptious cuisine. These are some Thai dishes you must try when you go to Thailand.
Pad Thai is a stir-fried rice noodle dish commonly sold as a street food. When you are in a Thai restaurant and don't know what to order, just choose pad thai.
Khao Pad (Fried rice). This is also one of the safest choices when you are unsure about what to order. You'll never go wrong!
Moo ping (Grilled Pork Skewers) and Khao-niew (Sticky rice). These two are my faves! Such a perfect combination! You'll never get tired of it!
There are a variety of noodle dishes in Thailand. These are just a few.
Ba Mee Moo Daeng (Egg Noodles with Roasted Pork) is my favorite.

The famous Tom Yum Goong. It is delicious but not really my cup of tea since I'm not into seafood. I would rather have tom yum chicken or pork.
Desserts!
There are many delicious Thai desserts to choose from. I love Khao-niew Kanun (sticky rice with jackfruit and coconut milk). Anything with sticky rice and coconut milk tastes heavenly!
You can find a wide variety of fruits in Thailand. These are not only delicious but also affordable.
The sweet and sour taste of Salak or snake fruit can be addicting! It is a Thai spring fruit that requires effort to open because of its scaly rind.
Feeling adventurous? Try some exotic foods! You can find a variety of deep-fried insects sold in market stalls. I was adamant not to try any, but one day I did eat this deep-fried grasshopper with some friends prodding. It was crunchy and yes, tasty!
One thing I love when going to a restaurant or an eatery is that they sometimes ask you what you want and don't want to add to your food. Having these options is awesome! You can make personal requests such as no celery, no peppermint, a little sugar, more chili, etc.
