Study now, Love later

"Study now, Love later!"

-Grade 2 pupil-

We were talking about studying hard when she blurted out these words! I couldn't help but chuckle. I did not expect to hear this from a seven-year-old child. I asked her where or whom she heard it from, and she said it was from her dad. I told her that I agree with what her dad said. Study now, love later! It's wonderful to hear that parents have this kind of conversation with their young kids.

Cut out people that don't add value to your life.

"Cut out people that don't add value to your life."

- a colleague-

It (always) hurts, but sometimes we just have to! There are moments when we must end a friendship, love, professional, or even family relationship. When the relationship becomes a source of burden, misery, and agony, then it's time to let go. Life is only lived once, and you must not live a life full of toxicity or drama. Instead, surround yourself with people who inspire, motivate and value you.

Closure is important but not necessary.

"Closure is important but not necessary."

-a friend-

When a relationship ends, be it friendship or romantic, we long for closure to move on. However, it doesn't always happen. You don't always get that closure, and it is okay. Sometimes, you just have to let time heal and mend things.

Money can't buy happiness

"Money can't buy happiness!"

-Grade 2 pupil-

Without money, you can't buy food, or you cannot go to school! Well, money can buy you happiness but only short-lived!
